Scan Bodies
Scan bodies are vital tools in the digital implant process, serving as reliable reference points during scanning. Made to attach securely to dental implants, they help capture a detailed digital image of the implant’s placement and angle in the mouth. This information is key when designing and creating the final prosthetic piece.
With the help of scan bodies, dentists can ensure a snug fit between the implant and the prosthetic, making the digital process smoother and contributing to lasting implant treatments.
We’ve designed the ARS scan body to fit precisely on the ARS screw to facilitate a completely precision scan that will enable accurate alignment of each scan taken from pre-op to post-surgery.
Our unique patent pending designed scan bodies are completely different from what is currently on the market, because our InstaRisa scan body is combined with our ScanDAR tracking system. When combined, these two elements can obtain an accurate scan body position for a full-arch complex treatment, especially on a bloody field.
Our innovative and patent pending short scan body design was created to sit on top of our FP3 and FP1 healing caps. This allows the Dentist and surgeons to speed the surgery since our short scan body will be sited at the end when everything is sutured. You don’t have to remove the healing cap before placing the scan body for implant position, then remove the scan body and put the healing caps back. This allows the process to be very efficient without interruptions during surgery.
